Labor Day Weekend (a little late)

We went up to Show Low for Labor Day weekend and had such a great time. The boys loved being able to play outside and get dirty dirty dirty! Nicholas is big into tree stuff lately (tree houses, tree climbing, etc.) and so he built a fabulous "tree house" (so he calls it) with his Grandpa Burke, his Daddy, and Matthew. Katie and I stayed in the background and just took in the sights. I bought a Snugli at a yard sale on our way out of town for $5 (smokin' deal) and I put her in it to go for a walk. She laughed so hard with every step I took because it bounced her. It was hilarious. Picture me and Katie walking all alone and both of us laughing our heads off. It was so cute!

I can totally picture it and I wish I had been on the walk so that I could have laughed along with you! That is so cute! AND I am ultra impressed by that cool fort. You guys are the best!

That was a very fun weekend! I can't believe I missed that fort, it obviously took some serious skills to build it! Your blog is so cute by the way, and your kids are so adorable!

Your boys are so handsome! They are just sweet little cutie pies. And it makes me chuckle to think of you and Katie giggling around, but that's the funnest part of being a mom. I read something in the Ensign I think about playing and laughing with your kids and how it releases endorphins and makes life happier, so you are on the right path! It' so sweet of you to say that about my hymn singing, but I am far from reaching the zen-like state I wish for. Baby steps I suppose :).
