Update...

Just an update on the whole sick thing. The night that I made my last post, Nicholas woke up in the middle of the night with some pretty fierce croup. What are the odds! Yuck! I realize they say that croup (as long as it doesn't turn your kids lips blue) is not serious. It freaks you out, that's for sure. Poor little guy. Luckily we were able to give him some albuterol breathing treatments that we had for Matthew, my little winter bronchial asthma boy). I don't know if the medicine itself helped, but it calmed Nicholas down so he wasn't panicky anymore. I ended up having a sleepover with him on the couch and we watched Clifford's Really Big Adventure and Aladdin until 2:30 in the morning. Then we had a sleepover on the couch together and let me tell you, that was not so comfy! As of right this minute my kids seem to be doing okay, with the exception of their coughs that seem to hang on forever, and life is starting to get back to normal.

This weekend we are tearing out our carpet and linolium (spelling?) in the living room and kitchen so that we can install our hardwood flooring. I am so excited! I have hated our carpet and kitchen floor since we moved in. It sounds like a big project, but the kids and I are hoping to stay in Utah for an extra week after Thanksgiving so that Steve and a friend can install the new stuff without the little friends getting in the way. So fun! Life is good her in the Soter house!

Oh, today I went to Saver's (one of my all time favorite places) and it was 50% off day because of Veteran's day. I got some pretty fun stuff. There aren't many things that bring more joy to my heart than a good bargain every now and again.
