Steve and I got to go on a cruise for our 5-year anniversary and we had such a blast! I think anyone else would be totally bored by us, but when we were on the boat we were either reading, watching movies, eating, or sleeping. I loved every minute of it! Those are the things I don't get to do at home (very much anyway). Off the boat we had such a fun time. We went snorkeling, we toured an old Russian submarine (very interesting and kinda creepy), and we also got to tour the boat that they used to film "Master and Commander" with Russell Crow. I heard that movie wasn't very awesome, but I kind of want to see it now. The only down side to our trip is that when I got off the boat my world did not stop rocking. I have been on a cruise before and wasn't affected at all, but this time (2 days later) I am still sailing the seas, without the seas. Not so fun because I am feeling rather motion sick these days. Oh well, this too shall pass right? The great thing is that when we got on the boat I was thinking to myself that how could 5 days possibly be long enough to feel satisified with a break from my kids and housework. I am happy to say that 4 days into it I was really missing my kids and I couldn't wait to go home, cook dinner and clean my house. I have been 10 times more patient with my kids too. Being away for a minute really makes you appreciate things. I will post pictures when I empty my camera.
For now I will just post a cute picture of my kids.

A cruise!?! I'm so jealous! Cory and I went on one for our honeymoon and LOVED it! We're scheming on maybe going again next summer...we shall see. I'm glad you got a break from reality for a bit...those breaks always have a way of making you grateful for what you have, and who you love. Wouldn't it be fun to go on a girl-cousin cruise? You, me, your AZ cousins, etc? I like to dream... :)
